Not clear on "1 year subscription"

It's been a while since I worked in Concrete5 and purchased a theme. I was ready to purchase this one until I got to the "1 year subscription" part. In the past when I bought a theme I bought a theme. I paid for it and then was eligible to use it for as long as I chose on the site for which its use was designated. So what exactly does the "1 year subscription" mean. Does that mean my eligibility to use the theme on my designated site terminates unless I ante up $45 a year? Kent

Hi Kent, thanks for your message! I totally understand your concern. The "1 year subscription" refers specifically to access to updates and support – not your right to use the theme. You can continue using the theme on your designated site indefinitely, even after the one-year period ends. What does end after that year is your access to new updates and official support (unless you renew the subscription). So in short: you’re buying a permanent license for one site, and the yearly fee is only for continued updates and support. Hope that helps! Best regards,
